As Senior Portfolio Manager at Intellus Advisors, Jim Snyder helps clients stay disciplined and confident through every market cycle. He focuses on portfolio construction, risk management, trading, and performance monitoring – building investment frameworks that balance opportunity with long-term stability.

Jim is a Certified Financial Planner® professional, having completed the rigorous education, training, and ethical requirements of the CFP® designation. He leverages this expertise to deliver thoughtful, client-focused strategies. His commitment to knowledge, integrity, and putting client’s first reflects the excellence that the CFP® mark stands for. Jim began his financial career in 2013 after working as a systems engineer, bringing a meticulous, data-driven mindset to investment strategy.

Jim is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in business management and has an MBA from the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University. He and his wife Anna, along with their two kids, live in Naples. Outside of work, Jim volunteers at Center Point Community Church, and enjoys cycling, running, and other outdoor sports. Jim also builds wooden boats and experiments with other carpentry projects.
